Sam and Jo

Sam and Jo are a generous and loving couple.  They treated all their guests to a Sunset trip on the Panwa Princess the day before their Wedding Celebration on the beach.

Sam and Jo chose their vows carefully and with much thought - even spotting a spelling mistake that I made!

Sam and Jo organized bubbly in the Panwa House before their vows for their guests who had flown to Phuket in order to share their special day - I think that I will go to more weddings that I am invited to now - BUT NO stag nights in Patong thank you very much.

Sam and Jo's friends had organized a Villa and Champagne as a surprise for Sam and Jo;  to see a parade of dresses and smiles leave the villa was lovely - but whilst wearing cotton white 'pants' where can you put a camera?

After the vows were shared and rings exchanged more bubbles were proffered on the beach but this time it had added pomegranate juice. Then the beer started to flow, tunes were chosen and the barbecue started - more sharing - what more could Sam and Jo give?

Spirit balloons were lit and then fireworks were lit - a wonderful atmosphere.  We were a little lucky that the wind allowed us to light them - one of them got caught in a tree - a surprise for the Chef below!!

A lovely day for a special couple.

Happy ever after Sam and Jo

They took the John Gray Sea Canoe trip and it was fabulous - I agree

Gary and Emily

What a lovely group of people.  From the very young to the older guests who were invited to the Gary and Emily's special day.

The flowers were chosen, drinks tasted and music chosen............

The pleasure in the people taking part in the ceremony was evident, Nathan, Tracey and Mario with a guitar - what a joy to be part of what was clearly a special day for them all.

This was followed with cocktails, photographs and the a private dinner at Panwa House.  Spirit balloons were lit and there was music prepared specially for the group and they danced away their excitement.

Congratulations to Gary and Emily.

Tom and Naomi

What a beautiful day.

Tom and Naomi decided to celebrate their 25 years of marriage by having a
Thai Wedding Ceremony at the Cape Panwa Hotel
and then a Western blessing at Panwa House.

What can I say that is not seen in all of the photographs?

In the morning the girls were excited and mum glowed –
the ambience was of beautiful………

The girls were in matching dresses and the boys in white linen.  The monks chanting in the Thai ceremony was (as is always) a joy to be part of.  Again the love within this family was clear to us all.

Mum and Dad disappeared after the ceremony for some more photographs whilst we waited at Panwa House for Part II.

At Panwa House we had a short renewal of vows and Tom and Naomi said a few words about what they still felt about each other – this was a truly beautiful time.

This was followed by a lunch at the Panwa House for them – a humbling morning for me.

Jojo and Alex

As the time came dad started to relax a little and Alex was very hot waiting for it all to kick off.  The music started .......... and stopped ........ cries of " sack the DJ " were heard as the song was changed.

The flower girl walked with a little usher - who did a runner as he approached the red carpet - and came to me as I waited with Alex. As the music reached a peak Jojo breezed in with the snapping of cameras being abundant.  Words were spoken and readings were read - the atmosphere was heavenly.

As the blessing came to an end butterflies were released into the air and the husband was told that he could kiss his bride xxxxxxxxxxx

Jojo and Alex walked along the red carpet and were showered with flowers - beautiful - and they were taken to the beach where an elephant met them.  After the photographs were taken the guests had a private dinner at Panwa House with fireworks and danced until the early morning.
